 Sounds Great And Easy To Play, This review is from: Michael Kelly Hybrid Special Electric Guitar, Spalted Maple I have been using my Michael Kelly hybrid guitar for the past 6 months and have kept my Gibson, Fender, and Carvin guitars in the closet (their strings are probably in need of changing by now).I "SORTA" like this guitar... I use a Hosa YPP117 1/4 TRS To Dual 1/4 Female Cable to connect the "electric" output to my Digitech 500 and the other, "Acoustic" output goes through a DI then to the sound board. I am very pleased with the sounds I am getting from both outputs. The electric output can scream or produce very mellow, deep sounding, jazzy tones with the neck pickup. The single coil "pull" option on the volume knob, provides a contrasting "attack" type tone which leans toward the sound of a Fender without the out of phase "quack". Except for the slightly narrower neck, finger picking feels and sounds very close to a regular acoustic - I guess I have adjusted over the past few months, because an acoustic guitar now feels bulky.
